Roads aren't really the best surfaces to run on.
You know, potholes, "tapal" cement/asphalt, and the occasional gift from those dogs...
But we should also consider which side of the road we are running on.
Roads aren't really flat, the middle of the road is usually higher than the sides.
Running on the same side of the road may increase the risk of knee problems.
Why? Because the leg on the higher side of the road hits the surface earlier and does not flex fully.
So, don't run on the same side of the road all the time.
